JLG® Telehandlers Now Available with No DEF Engines

Tier 4 Final emissions standards require the use of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) in diesel engines over 74 hp. Select JLG® telehandlers are now available with 74 hp engines that don’t require DEF. These engines reduce diesel emissions using a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) instead of a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system. With no DEF engines, you can eliminate the cost of DEF and the maintenance required to keep the tank full.
