Behind the Scenes: Starting the Reconditioning Process

Get an inside look at what happens when our reconditioned facility receives a machine ready for teardown. It all begins with a cross evaluation of the machine, followed by reviewing the product and scope of work and creating a bill of material to order the parts. Next comes the teardown process – removing and disposing of hoods, removing booms and engines for rebuilding, breaking the machine down to frame, and then moving it to the assembly process. It takes approximately three days before the machine is ready for the paint process. http://www.jlg.com/
